Home Evaluation / Skilled Nursing Evaluation
The hospital provides no-cost home screenings for individuals who might benefit from rehabilitation. To schedule a screening, the individual, family member or healthcare professional may call (412) 826-2716 or (877) 937-7342 to request a home evaluation. A liaison will visit the individual's home, complete the screening and make appropriate recommendations.

Insurance
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed.
